Joe Onwubuya is the Managing Director of Cyberspace Network Limited. He is also a non-Executive Director of many reputable companies like Zenith General Insurance Limited, Veritas Registrars Limited, Zenith Capital Limited, Venus Medicare Limited. He serves in their various committees of the Board.
Mr. Onwubuya has held various positions in large integration and consulting companies. He has also served as IT consultant to numerous financial institutions and Visafone Communications Limited.
He works with his team to deliver a successful growth strategy for the company. He is highly regarded in the technology industry and has over thirty years of Software Business, Security and Network consulting experience with several companies in Nigeria and has been with Cyberspace Limited since its inception. Engr. Onwubuya holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Lagos in addition to several other ICT seminars both within and outside Nigeria. He has attended the Advanced Management Programme of the Lagos Business School, Lagos.
He is a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Institute of Directors, Nigeria. He is a member of the prestigious Ikoyi Club, Lagos.
Aretha Awaiko is the Chief Financial Officer of Cyberspace Limited and its subsidiaries and is responsible for managing the financial strategy and activities of the Group.
Prior to joining the group in 2020, she worked with PwC in Nigeria and Angola where she was involved in various engagements including internal and external audits, Sarbanes Oxley’s reviews, special investigations, for national and international corporate and state institutions.
Aretha is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She holds a B.Sc. in Statistics, from the University of Jos, Plateau State and an advanced diploma in Accounting and Business from the ACCA. She is also a member of the Nigerian institute of management
She has attended management and executive training programs in Nigeria, Angola, and Portugal including ACCA’s Mandatory Continuous Professional Development, PwC’s Gulf of Guinea Petroleum Academy, Audit Quality Workshops (Manager to Partners Program), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) - Annual Updates, Global Ethics Training, Soft skills training – Organised, Inspired and Effective, Leading Teams (Team management training), Instructing skills, Manager Training Program and the Lagos Business School’s Winning Skills and Tools for Negotiation Course.
Olusola Bankole
is the Chief Marketing Officer of the company. He joined Cyberspace in 2012 as a highly knowledgeable ICT player and an experienced salesman.
Bankole continues to impeccably oversee the Business Development department diversified team of over seventy-five (75) experts through ardent leadership, unrivaled patience and professionalism at its peak.
He has over 22 years business and managerial experience spanning sales, marketing, strategy development, and implementation. Bankole continues to transition himself into a versatile executive with diverse experience base.
Prior to joining this great organization, he started his professional career as a marketing executive in WECO systems international Limited in 1997 where he rose to become the Executive Director, Business Development and Strategy. He is also well versed in ICT consultancy, business strategy, regulatory matters, and other strategic functions.
He is also a Fellow of the prestigious Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom.
Bankole is an alumnus, London School of Business and Finance, United Kingdom having bagged an MBA priorly from Lagos State University and an HND degree in Mass Communications from the then Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta.
He has undergone several executive and strategy courses both at home and abroad. He is also an alumnus of Lagos Business School where he bagged Advanced Management Programme Certificate among others.
